John Butcher & Gino Robair
New Oakland Burr

John Butcher: soprano and tenor saxophones, amplified/feedback or acoustic.
Gino Robair: ebow snare, cymbals, faux dax, motor, toy reed, Styrofoam.

Certainly neither easy listening nor something that will likely appeal to a mass audience, this is an insidious release that will likely ensnare those willing to give themselves over to its own unique logic. -- One Final Note.

Like audio commandos, they make something happen instantly within a circumscribed audio zone, then effect a hasty withdrawal. -- Dusted

Recorded 18 June and 26 November, 2001 by Myles Boisen at Guerrilla Recording. Cover image by Gino Robair.
